Class Description

Need space to create? Come work in a real stained glass studio surrounded by tools, glass, and other artists. Open Studio Time is available for students and independent artists with prior stained glass experience who want access to studio equipment without building a full setup at home. Use of tabletop studio tools is included, including: Grinders Ring saw Came bender Lead stretcher Light table Table foiler Iron regulators Circle cutter Work tables Basic studio equipment Customers are responsible for bringing their own hand tools, including items such as glass cutters, soldering irons, breaking pliers, and grozing pliers. Glass, lead, solder, and additional supplies are available for purchase on site. Open Studio participants will also receive 10% off supplies purchased during their session. Open Studio is intended as independent work time rather than formal instruction, though our staff is often around working on projects or assisting classes. Whether you’re finishing a panel, experimenting with new techniques, or just looking for creative time outside the house, Open Studio is a great way to stay inspired and connected with other glass artists.
