Stained Glass Wirework Workshop Add a little twist to your stained glass skills! In this hands-on workshop, you'll create a beautiful stained glass star while learning the art of decorative wirework! This class focuses on taking your stained glass projects to the next level by incorporating wire embellishments, curls, and decorative details. You'll learn how to bend, shape, and attach wire to create beautiful designs that add personality and dimension to your stained glass pieces. Available seats shown are the exact number of spots remaining. All glass will be pre-cut and ground so you can spend your time focusing on learning wirework techniques rather than cutting and grinding. You'll still practice the fundamentals of copper foiling and soldering while exploring new ways to incorporate decorative wire into your projects. No prior wirework experience is necessary! What to Expect: Create a stained glass star featuring decorative wirework All glass is pre-cut and ground, so no cutting or grinding is required Learn how to bend, shape, and form decorative wire Learn techniques for attaching wire embellishments to stained glass Practice copper foiling and soldering techniques Leave with a finished stained glass star ready to hang or give as a gift! Who Can Attend: Our stained glass workshops are designed for ages 14 and up. Participants under 18 are welcome with a participating parent or guardian present. To keep the experience safe and enjoyable for everyone, all participants should be able to follow instructions and remain focused throughout the class. Stained glass involves sharp materials, hot tools, and lead materials, so attentiveness is important. If a participant is unable to safely engage in the class, we reserve the right to end their session early.
